Meeting Notes

Our speaker chair Steve brought us Bob Nichols from Kettering University.  Bob Nichols, director of Special Projects which include the FIRST robotics program, said the district games at Kettering help teams qualify for further competition at state and national events.  “These are our future engineers and scientists,” Nichols said.  He noted that Kettering will attract up to 2,000 visitors to campus during the set-up and competition days. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a national youth effort to inspire careers in engineering, science and technology. President Bob was off, so I subbed for him.  Enosh was handing out fines like no ones business.   Sounds like we had fun at dodge ball.  Chuck was back and did not get fined.  Make sure we get him double next week. We had a couple guests this week as well.

Flint Golf Course is closed next week and we are meeting at the Soggy Bottom downtown. The address is 613 Martin Luther King Ave, Flint, MI 48502.

Thank you!
